Prject Coordinator - metaphacts is a privately-held, independent and owner-managed software company that provides products, solutions and services in the area of knowledge graph management. Key expertise includes semantic data management, scalable, cloud based architectures, search and information management. The main product is the metaphactory platform for knowledge graph management, based on which sector specific solutions are built. While the platform itself is generic, key sectors include finance, cultural heritage, enterprise information management and engineering / industrial applications.

The Data Science group (DICE) at the University of Paderborn focuses on research ranging from foundational research (Semantic Web, Link Discovery, Machine Learning, Data Integration, Knowledge Extraction, Fact Checking) to applications that are deployed at industrial partners' sites. With FROCKG, we aim to extend our portfolio and offer a fact checking service for facts from the Linked Open Data Cloud. This service will be made available as an open demonstrator with a limited number of queries per day and IP address. A billing model for higher rates of queries per day will be developed and used as underlying business model.

Zazuko is an owner-managed consulting company for Semantic Web and related technologies founded in 2014. We consult with various Swiss government agencies like SECO, Swiss Federal Archive, Federal Statistical Office and Swisstopo and enterprise customers in the communication, shipping, insurance, finance and life sciences industry. In 2017 and 2018, Zazuko won two large WTO tenders from the Swiss government (in total 7.7 million CHF/US$) to support them building a Swiss government knowledge graph. Our goal is to facilitate creating and maintaining Knowledge Graphs.
